Yup, as you read the title, it is indeed time to blow the dust and cobwebs away from this blog of mine, and what better way than to link it to one of my all-time favorites: gaming! How many of you can recognize the game icons and the console?
The last post that I had made was way back, and since then a lot has changed!!! Starting from the blog design itself!
Additionally, we’ve moved to Pune in the State of Maharashtra in India about 2 months ago, and have now made a home for ourselves here. Have had a few visitors (human and not so human – more about that a bit later, though).
The move here has been interesting, what with the fact that the shipment of our belongings got delayed owing to the Telangana Bandh a while back, followed by the heavy downpour one evening that had us literally swabbing a bucketload of water, off the floor in one of our rooms! However, everything wasn’t dismal!
We checked out some interesting places such as Kamshet, Bedsa and Karla caves (posts pertaining to which I will be writing up shortly). Had a trip to Joshi’s rail museum, one of the finest miniature rail museums that I have seen; gorged on some excellent Food (for which Pune is quite famous) – be it the Wada Pav, Missal, Egg-based parsi eateries, thai and what not!
Rather than have this convert to a really long post, I’m going to halt now. Stay tuned for more updates, and much more frequent ones!!
